Luiz C. Manni, born in São Paulo, studied with Zezé Egas, Vanni Balzi and Luigi Zanotto, this last one at FAAP ART SCHOOL.
Living in Rio de Janeiro since 1973, he has worked in the communication area of multinational companies and major advertising agencies of Rio de Janeiro. Manni has always been involved with the arts by attending courses or researching new forms of expression such as oil, collage, watercolor, drawing and others.
Since 1994 he has dedicated himself almost exclusively to the printmaking technique of etching.
