A Galeria Gravura Brasileira abre no dia 16 de setembro, sábado, às 13h, a exposição "POEMAS GRÁFICOS" do artista Feres Khoury. 

A mostra reúne gravuras realizadas em ponta seca sobre papel e desenhos em aguada de nanquim sobre papel Arches e Fabriano. 

Nesta série de  gravuras, as imagens são geradas a partir da reutilização das matrizes de cobre onde diversos procedimentos como incisões, raspagem e gravação criam imagens que se complementam e se relacionam.

Na série de desenhos "Caligrafia", Feres Khoury cria imagens líricas e poéticas que convivem com os textos escritos pelo artista ou retirados de seus poemas preferidos.

Se nas gravuras a rigidez e crueza da ponta seca prevalecem, nos desenhos as manchas e fluidez do nanquim aparecem em delicadezas e transparências orientais.

On September 16th, Saturday, at 1 pm, Galeria Gravura Brasileira opens the exhibition "POEMAS GRÁFICOS" by the artist Feres Khoury. 

The exhibition brings together prints made in drypoint on paper and drawings in India ink on Arches and Fabriano paper.

In this series of prints, the images are generated from the reuse of copper matrices where various procedures such as incisions, scraping and engraving create images that complement and relate to each other.

In the series of drawings "Caligrafia", Feres Khoury creates lyrical and poetic images that coexist with the texts written by the artist or taken from his favorite poems.

If in the prints the rigidity and rawness of the dry point prevail, in the drawings the stains and fluidity of the ink appear in oriental delicacy and transparencies.
