The wood engraving represents one of the most former (old) techniques of print as well as one of the practices the most known for the general public.
The panaméricaine meeting underlines the contribution of this practice in the field of the visual arts, through a variety of contemporary propositions.
The panaméricaine meeting of wood engraving proposes to the artists and to the amateurs a programming containing several exhibitions.
Gueule de bois
This project of creation allowed artists` meeting recognized for their current contribution by the practice of the engraved(burnt) wood. The represented countries are Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Cuba, Canada. The participants realized on the spot a print. Their realized works were gathered(combined) in an art book. Dimensions of 9 works: 56x79cm.

Presse Papier was always a door opened to the artists of the print, the printed image. This project allowed to finalize the programming of the 25th anniversary of in the heart of the conviviality. This meeting gathered(combined) the members of Presse Papier and their guests, around a stand on the place(square) of the multiple avenues of the langue de bois. Dimensions of 21 works: 56x39cm

Black and White, opened studios(workshops)
A quite particular invitation was thrown(launched) to the artists of the print of everywhere in Quebec and moreover to take advantage of their passage in Trois-Rivières to come to engrave(burn) a work in our studios(workshops).
All summer, 2005 long, Presse Papier once again joined as the Mecca of the conviviality by developing a project of network creation on a national scale. Dimensions of +/-130 works: 15x15cm
